Eater names the Italian "World's Greatest Sub" and then deconstructs a bougie version in NYC

Eater is right to name the Italian Sub the World's Greatest Sandwich, but Meat Hook in NYC, at least in its Eater-produced, behind the scenes video montage, does not look like it matches up with Monica's in the North End. Using lardo on toasted bread is a bold, creative choice for hipster mayo lovers in Williamsburg, but I will take prosciutto over house-made cold cuts any day even if you show me a video of how the meat was made.
